Oracle Express License Agreement

Note: Your use of Oracle Database 18c Express Edition is subject to the OTN developer license conditions for Oracle Database Express Edition. The OTN license agreement for Oracle Database 18c Express Edition replaces all shrinking licenses on OTN Technology Track software CDs and the old OTN license conditions (including the oracle license in the license modified by the OTN Program Certificate) exclusively with respect to your use of the Oracle 18c Express Edition database. Recently, I told a customer by an Oracle salesperson in Germany that some usage scenarios were not covered by the Oracle XE license and that he had to acquire an Oracle license (at least Standard One). Our technical assistance organization does not provide you with technical assistance, telephone support or updates for licensed programs under this contract. A copy of the license is available on JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) 3.0.0 License. When you purchase the license, installation, copy or other use of the PRODUCT SOFTWARE, you agree: a) that you have read this DOCUMENT; (b) that you understand all the conditions and provisions; (c) that you declare bound by the conditions of this CLUE. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT SOME OF THE TERMS OF THIS EULA, DO NOT INSTALL, COPY, USE, EVALUATE, OR REPLICATE IN ANY MANNER, ANY PART, FILE OR PORTION OF THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT. The authors here apply to the use, copy, modification, distribution and license of this software and its documentation for all intents and purposes, provided that existing copyright mentions are kept in all copies and that this is literally included in all distributions. No written agreement, license or licence fee is required for any of the authorized uses. The original code was published in September 2010 by Xuan Luo under the GPLv3 license. You acknowledge and accept that DEVART may change the fee at any time and without notice.

This license expires automatically, as do all licenses granted to you by the copyright owners of this software, and you cannot exercise the rights granted to you of this license from the date you take legal action, including a counter-claim, against the copyright holders of that software or a licensee of that software who claim that a portion of the software libraries JGraph, JGraphX and/or MX infringes a patent. This termination provision does not apply to an action that accuses of infringement by combining this software with other software or hardware. The Linux Name Service Switch code, provided by national ICT Australia Ltd (NICTA), is authorised under the terms of the NICTA public software license (which essentially resembles the “Three-Clause BSD License”, with an additional language that refers to Australian law). The information contained in this document may be changed without notice. If you find any problems in the documentation, please report them to us in writing.
